Does my parent need a ticket?

    No, only children participating in the casting call need a valid ticket. Each individual child participating must have their own ticket. Siblings, friends, groups, etc may not share a single ticket.

    How do I get my tickets? Will they be mailed?

    Ticket are NOT MAILED. eTickets are generated once your order is confirmed and automatically sent to the email address provided at checkout. Please be sure to check your junk/spam mail and/or promotions folder for this email. If you do not get your tickets with 30 minutes of receiving your separate order confirmation, please email with your Name, Order Number and Billing Address and we will re-send the links - tickets will not be resent if you do not provide the necessary information.

    Can the name on my ticket be changed?

    The name printed on your tickets does not need to match the name of the ticket holder UNLESS you are using a Rock VIP free or discounted ticket. In order to avoid the unauthorized sale or redistribution of these tickets, the identify and membership status of the ticket holder will be verified at check-in. Please email if you have questions.

    Do I need to print my ticket?

    We HIGHLY recommend bringing a printed copy of your ticket if possible. Mobile versions will be accepted if you do not have access to a printer, as long as the barcode appears clearly on your screen. If using a mobile ticket, take a screen shot prior to arriving at the venue.

    Casting Call

      Where and when will the casting calls be held?

      Casting calls & test photo shoots are currently scheduled for the following dates & cities. Venues and times will depend on registration. Specifics for each location will be announced closer to the date of each event (including registration details, what to expect, etc).

      Do I have to pay?

      Silver level tickets are FREE for all Rock VIP Members (please read the disclaimer below)*. Discounted paid upgrades to Silver and Platinum levels are available for VIPs. There is a fee for all non-members. Please see the event page for a list of ticket features. Click here to become a ROCK VIP.

      Do I need to bring a parent/chaperone?

      Yes, all children under the age of 18 must attend with a parent or adult chaperone. Parents/chaperones do not need to have tickets.

      Who is the casting call open to?

      All ages of experienced, beginner and aspiring models are welcome to attend! However, to be selected to work with RYH for future events, concerts, professional photo shoots, marketing projects, etc, you must be between the ages of 6 - 18 years of age (parent or guardian MUST be present to sign a consent form for all participants under the age of 18). Please bring birth certificate or ID for age verification.

      What time do I need to come?

      Doors will open one hour prior to the scheduled time. Each person will be seen in the order they arrive. You MUST be signed in one hour prior to the end time (please note, casting call will END promptly at the time stated. We HIGHLY recommend arriving as early as possible to ensure that you are seen). Once signed in, you will be assigned a number. When you paperwork is filled out and turned in, you will be free to shop, mingle, use our selfie stations, etc.

      I've never modeled before. Can I still attend the casting call?

      Absolutely! The casting call is open to all skill and ability levels. Our staff and photographers will help you with posing, expression, etc if you do not have any experience.

      Can I audition to be a singer or dancer?

      We will not be conducting any live auditioning for singers or dancers, but you will have the opportunity to submit a video prior to the event if you would like to share or showcase a special talent.

        What should I wear? How should I do my hair?

        That is entirely up to you! For wardrobe, please wear something that expressed your style - no patterns. You may bring multiple options, we suggest one black and one white. Hair and makeup should be done prior to arrival in a style that showcases your look - keep it natural!

        Will someone help me pose?

        Each participant will be coached on how to pose - approximately 4 poses each. Gold and Platinum attendees will do a few additional poses and potentially model in PromGirl Dresses!!

        Do I need to bring a head shot?

        Each casting call participant will have test photos taken on-site by a professional photographer, so professional head shots are not necessary. However, please bring a 4x6 or larger photo of yourself to attach to your completed registration and model release forms. Label your photo clearly on the back with your name, phone number and email address just in case it gets separated from your paperwork.

        What do I get if I'm chosen?

        If selected, you will earn the title of "Rock Your Hair Model" and have the opportunity to earn compensation such as complimentary products & merch, social media features and possibly an invitation to attend paid photo shoot in LA.

        How will I know if I'm selected?

        If selected, you will be contacted my a member of the RYH team via Social Media (from @rockyourhair - please do not respond to fan pages or fake RYH accounts), or via phone and/or an official email address. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CONTACT OUR OFFICE VIA PHONE, EMAIL OR SOCIAL MEDIA TO INQUIRE ABOUT YOUR STATUS/APPLICATION. DOING SO MAY RESULT IN  DISQUALIFICATION.

        Will I be able to meet any RYH talent?

        Rock Your Hair talent is not guaranteed at any of the casting calls/photo shoots. If any special guests will be present, it will be announced on our social media pages.

        I can't come to any of the live events. Can I audition through email or video?

        Video/email submissions are not being accepted at this time. We hope to have other casting call opportunities this year. Please keep an eye on social media for future announcements.


        *You must have an ACTIVE VIP membership to use a VIP ticket on the day of the event. If you cancel your subscription prior to the event date, you will be required to pay the difference at check-in. Also, VIPs are limited to ONE VIP priced ticket per customer across all levels. This means that you may purchase (1) Silver OR (1) Gold OR (1) Platinum ticket. You may not purchase (1) of each level. VIPs may NOT purchase additional tickets for friends. Any order for multiple tickets will be cancelled immediately.
